About ARC (Academic Resource Center)
The ARC offers Supplemental Instruction for undergraduates at the University of Iowa. Supplemental Instruction (SI) is offered for a variety of courses. All of the sessions are free.

Note that MATH:1550 Engineering Math I: Single Variable Calculus meets in 4030 SC
Sessions begin on Sunday, August 27, 2017 and go through Friday, December 8, 2017. There will be no sessions over Labor Day Weekend (9/3-9/4) or during Fall Break (11/18-11/26) and no sessions during finals week.
What to Expect:
When you come to the ARC, you will be greeted by a receptionist. All students sign in before their SI session. We don't share your information with anyone. SI Sessions are led and facilitated by a SI Leader. When you are in your session, you will work with other students in the sessions through activities to help you better understand the material. You will also learn study strategies to help you in the course!
How to Prepare:
Bring your notes for the course and any other materials that you think will be helpful for you to have during an SI session.
