About Engineering Tutoring
Engineering Tutoring provides free group tutoring to students taking foundational and core courses in the Engineering curriculum. Engineering Tutoring is staffed by undergraduate students who have been successful in the courses they tutor.
Before midterm exams, Engineering Tutoring offers tutor led review sessions. Students find this resource helpful even if they do not attend tutoring on a regular basis. A review schedule will be posted on this webpage during the second week of courses.
Assistance is available for the following courses:
- Introduction to Engineering Problem Solving
- Principles of Chemistry I and II
- Introductory Physics I and II
- Engineering Math I - V
- Engineering Core Courses: Statics, Electrical Circuits, Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Dynamics, Materials Science, and Mechanics of Deformable Bodies.
Important Dates - Spring 2018:
First Day of Tutoring: Monday, January 22
Tutoring Closed: Sunday, March 11 - Sunday, March 18
Last Day of Tutoring: Thursday, May 3
Finals Week: SDC available for studying, but tutoring is not available.

What to Expect:
Engineering Tutoring is a walk-in service; no appointment needed. Students will check-in at the front desk in 3612 SC. They will choose the subject(s) and reason(s) for their visit and then be connected with the appropriate tutor. There is a tutor available for every subject we tutor, every night we are open.
