What to Expect:

When you come to the Writing Center, you'll check in with your hawkid and password on a computer at the front desk if your appointment is in our main office, 110 EPB, or on an iPad if you're meeting with a tutor at one of our satellite centers (the Main Library, Blank Honors Center, Gerdin, Wild Bill's Coffee Shop, the Center for Diversity and Enrichment). Your tutor will ask you about your assignment, your goals for the piece and the concerns you'd like addressed.

How to Prepare:

Make sure to bring a copy of your assignment and any other materials that you think will be helpful. It also helps to read back through your work carefully before your appointment so you know what questions to ask and where you would like to focus.
