Hi! My name is Michael & I recently graduated with PhD in Chemical & Biochemical Engineering.

My name is Michael Delcau. I studied my B.S. undergraduate degree in Chemistry at Truman State University in Kirksville, Missouri with minors in biology and Spanish from 2009-2013. Then I enrolled at the University of Iowa to study for my M.S/Ph.D. in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering with a focus on biotechnology and fermentation. I graduated with my PhD in Spring of 2018.

I am currently a Postdoctoral researcher at the VA hospital / UIHC in the department of ophthalmology and visual sciences (2018-Present)

My current strengths in teaching are:

Chemistry (Principles)

Biology (Foundations)

Biochemistry, genetics, microbiology, physical chemistry, thermodynamics, biocatalysis,  introduction to biochemical engineering, math, calculus, algebra, pre-algebra, trigonometry, chemical reaction engineering, and heat & flow. I may be able to help with related courses.
